Regulatory & HSE Manager

Responsibilities
- Ensure the company and its subsidiaries operate safely and ethically.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of compliance, regulatory, and HSE professionals.
- Manage federal/state government investigations, audits, or inquiries.
- Administer the compliance, regulatory, maintenance, and operations database and repository.
- Serve as the primary emergency and reporting contact for the company and subsidiaries.
- Track and submit compliance reports to regulatory agencies and organizations.
- Act as liaison between executive leadership and personnel.
- Monitor regulatory, compliance, and HSE activities across assets and organizations.
- Update leadership on current compliance, regulatory, and HSE issues.
- Stay informed on industry trends and new regulations.
- Represent the company to regulatory agencies and NGOs.
- Conduct internal audits on compliance policies.
- Develop and implement new programs and procedures.
- Serve as a resource for operations, maintenance, and construction teams.
- Respond to emergencies and participate in the Incident Management Team.
- Engage in professional organizations and committees.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree or high school diploma with 10 years of applicable experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
- At least 5 years working with regulatory and government agencies.
- Supervisory experience of 5 or more years.
- Knowledge of computerized maintenance systems.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Quick Base, and maintenance management software.
- Flexibility and resourcefulness in challenges.
- Ability to pass drug and alcohol screenings.
- Willingness to work on-call as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in oil and gas.
- 10+ years working with regulatory agencies.
- 10+ years supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of agencies like AOGCC, EPA, OSHA, FERC, NRC, etc.
- Advanced technical writing skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills for remote work environments.
This role is based in Anchorage, AK, with a 9/80 schedule and field work as needed. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or eligible residents. We do not offer relocation assistance. Candidates with temporary visas or requiring sponsorship are ineligible.
