Job summary

Marvin in Warroad, MN is seeking an engineer to establish and maintain centers of excellence in regulatory disciplines for glass design, installation, packaging, and thermal analysis. You will ensure compliance with industry standards and support cross-functional teams on complex projects.

Requires a bachelor’s in engineering and 3+ years in design/regulatory work; knowledge of 2D/3D CAD (Inventor preferred) and FE A software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required; master’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of engineering design, product development and/or regulator y experience.
• Understanding of regulatory standards for windows/doors market preferred.
• PE certification preferred.
• Experience with 2D/3D CAD tools (Inventor preferred) and MS Office.
• FEA/THERM software exposure preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, training and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Glass design and analysis including strength, altitude, frequency, sound transmission, and thermal performance.
• Structural engineering support for new product development with calculations.
• Installation design, validation, and technical documentation leadership.
• Packaging design and analysis supporting sustainability goals.
• Understand product components and how design affects life-cycle performance.
