Job summary

La Rabida Children’s Hospital in Chicago seeks a Manager of Regulatory & Emergency Management to lead regulatory compliance, accreditation readiness, licensure management, and the hospital's emergency preparedness program.

Reporting to the COO, this role directs readiness for surveys, supports patient safety, and collaborates with leaders, physicians, employees, and external agencies to strengthen resilience and performance.

Qualifications

Minimum five (5) years of progressive experience in healthcare regulatory compliance, accreditation, quality, or emergency management.
Experience leading accreditation surveys and regulatory readiness programs.
Experience in a hospital setting; pediatric healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Direct and oversee hospital-wide regulatory compliance and accreditation readiness program.
Coordinate accreditation surveys, inspections, and validation reviews.
Lead the hospital's Emergency Management Program and Emergency Operations Plan development.
Plan and evaluate emergency preparedness training and drills.
Serve as liaison with regulatory agencies and healthcare coalitions.
Develop dashboards and performance metrics for readiness.
