Savannah River Mission Completion seeks a Regulatory Document Developer in Aiken, SC to develop regulatory documents for tank closure and salt waste disposal and to analyze environmental data. You will prepare materials for DOE, NRC, EPA and other regulators, and present findings to management and stakeholders.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in engineering or applicable science, experience in technical writing, and ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team within a DOE program

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or applicable science from an accredited university.
• Experience in technical writing is preferred.
• Ability to perform data analysis and interpret results.

Responsibilities

• Draft and revise regulatory documents (CERCLA-type) and ensure they are reviewed and distributed to relevant personnel.
• Ensure regulatory guidance, data analysis, protocols, and program requirements are implemented in documents.
• Prepare, route, and track documents through all review stages across DOE/NRC/EPA/SCDES.
