Job summary

The Agency for Health Care Administration in Florida is seeking a Regulatory Specialist I to maintain licensure and federal certification data for health care facilities and providers. You will track surveys, follow-up visits and complaints, and prepare survey reports for timely submission.

You will also update VERSA/OSCAR data, generate routine reports, and coordinate ASPEN updates while ensuring accuracy and compliance across the division.

Qualifications

• One year of general office experience.
• One year of documented computer experience using Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain data base for analysis and management of State licensure & Federal certification of health care facilities and providers.
• Track requests for initial surveys; annual surveys, follow-up visits and complaints investigations.
• Create survey reports, develop letters, and ensure all required components of survey reports are completed.
• Update data in VERSA and retrieve OSCAR reports.
• Coordinate ASPEN changes and report system problems to the ASPEN coordinator.
• Scan and perform quality assurance in Laserfiche.
• Maintain current information of division policies and processes within established policies.
• Establish and utilize a tracking system for licensure status to create survey schedules meeting State and Federal rules.
