Aurora is seeking a dynamic Regulatory Counsel to join our world‑class legal team and help chart the legal frontier of self‑driving technology. You will report to the Assistant General Counsel, Regulatory, and partner with Government Relations, Safety, Business Development and Product Strategy to shape compliance strategies for evolving federal and state autonomous vehicle rules.

Qualifications

• JD degree and active member of a State Bar.
• 3-6 years of in-house, law firm, and/or government experience.
• Proven track record of handling regulatory and legislative matters across jurisdictions.
• Demonstrated excellence in analytical, written, and oral communication with cross-functional influence.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects under deadline.

Responsabilités

• Provide cross-functional and actionable legal and policy advice to teams during deployment.
• Advise on ongoing legislative and regulatory processes and design related compliance strategies.
• Address novel legal issues raised by autonomous vehicle technology and shape regulatory frameworks for deployment and expansion.
• Own strategic compliance roadmaps with federal and state autonomous vehicle requirements.
• Collaborate with broader legal team on incident response, disputes, and transactional matters.
