Job summary

Acuity Insurance seeks a Legal Support Specialist in its Legal Department to assist with corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and legal operations. You will help maintain corporate records and filings, conduct research, support audits and regulatory responses, and collaborate with internal partners to ensure compliance with applicable laws.

Reporting to the Director - House Counsel, this non-exempt, hourly role offers a hybrid work schedule with onsite attendance at least two days per

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or related field required.
• 5+ years of corporate/regulatory/compliance/paralegal experience.
• Background in Property & Casualty insurance or regulated industries preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance laws, corporate compliance, and risk management best practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regulatory inventories, compliance matrices, and tracking tools.
• Coordinate and submit required filings, notices, annual reports, and minutes.
• Assist in preparing governance materials (meetings, resolutions).
• Draft and review contracts (terms, NDAs).
• Coordinate responses to regulatory inquiries and document remediation efforts.
