Job summary

Empower is seeking a Compliance Support Professional to ensure regulatory readiness across home health and hospice sites. You will develop and deliver documentation and survey-readiness training, provide on-site and remote education to staff, and support new site onboarding.

You will assess readiness through audits and mock surveys, collaborate on corrective actions, and travel up to 60% as needed to support multiple offices. A nursing background with RN licensure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business, or Marketing preferred).
• 3–5 years' experience in home health and/or hospice; 5 years HCHB (HomeCare HomeBase) experience preferred.
• RN licensed in the state(s) of practice; valid driver’s license and auto liability insurance; not listed in the OIG Excluded Provider.

Responsibilities

• Learns and interprets state, federal, and accreditation requirements and keeps current with changes.
• Develops and delivers documentation and survey-readiness training programs for home health and hospice sites.
• Provides ongoing documentation training to staff to strengthen compliance and quality.
• Conducts on-site education visits and education calls for clinical and administrative staff.
• Supports new site implementation and onboarding, including training on new programs and workflows.
• Conducts audits and mock surveys to assess readiness and ensure regulations are met.
• Develops corrective action plans and coordinates with survey agencies to address deficiencies.
• Travels up to 50–60% to other offices, with overnight stays as needed.
