Job summary

America’s Home Health Services is seeking a Compliance Specialist to maintain the agency’s regulatory compliance and audit-readiness. The role requires proactive monitoring of employee, DCW/DSP, client, branch, licensing, EVV, and documentation to ensure readiness for any audit or survey.

• Experience with regulatory compliance in healthcare settings.
• Experience conducting internal audits and preparing for external reviews.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping abilities.
• Familiarity with EVV and credentialing processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain audit readiness 100% of the time.
• Conduct routine internal compliance audits.
• Monitor employee, DCW/DSP, client, and branch documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Establish deadlines and track corrective actions.
• Escalate unresolved issues and coordinate with departments to fix deficiencies.
• Prepare and organize documentation for state and payer audits.
• Maintain electronic and/or physical compliance records and calendars.
• Develop and maintain compliance checklists and audit tools.
• Monitor regulatory changes impacting the agency.
