Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a compliance professional to interpret federal, state, and international regulations across products and processes. You will investigate issues raised by internal teams, customers, and regulators, and implement policies to ensure full regulatory alignment and reporting.

The role emphasizes auditing, risk assessment, and strong communication skills to persuade and coordinate across complex programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 10 years of professional experience; or 8 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
• Experience with US Government Contracting and the associated regulations (FAR and the DoD DFARS)
• Experience with auditing
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proven strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as well as program and management, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.
• Must be detail oriented
• Ability to obtain TS clearance
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience building relationships with peers and other subject matter experts throughout the company

Responsibilities

• Interpret federal, state, and international regulations as they apply to products, financial processes, and other processes.
• Investigate and resolve compliance problems, questions, or complaints from other units, customers, and government regulatory agencies.
• Implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with statutes and regulations and meet regulatory reporting requirements.
• Audit and evaluate current policies, procedures, and documentation for compliance with government laws and regulations.
• Review and approve promotional materials for compliance, including post-marketing activities.
