Job summary

FAFCU is seeking a Director of Compliance to lead the credit union's enterprise compliance program and serve as the designated BSA Officer. This role ensures compliance with federal and state laws, overseeing BSA/AML/OFAC, regulatory change management, vendor risk, fair lending monitoring, and exam readiness.

The leader collaborates with executives to shape policies, controls, and training, acting as a trusted advisor to management, regulators, and auditors, driving a proactive compliance

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in credit union, banking, or financial-services compliance/risk roles with direct BSA/AML/OFAC responsibilities.
• Experience serving as a designated BSA Officer.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certifications such as BSACS, ACAMS, CUCO, NCCO, or equivalent (preferred).
• Interpersonal skills for confidential, diplomatic communication and relationship building.
