Job summary

Charleston County Government seeks a Regulatory Manager to oversee federal grant management and regulatory compliance for HUD programs. You will lead a team, manage environmental reviews, and ensure CAPER/AAP accuracy in coordination with leadership.

The role requires five years of grant experience, a related bachelor's degree, and a valid SC driver's license. You will coordinate reporting to 2 CFR part 200 and assist in maintaining regulatory records for audits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of federal grant management experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is required.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Must possess a valid SC Driver's license or obtain within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regulatory compliance for HUD grants and contracts.
• Lead Regulatory Specialists in onboarding, training, performance management, and discipline.
• Oversee environmental reviews, lead-based paint, floodplain, FEMA regulatory requirements.
• Prepare CAPER and Annual Action Plan (AAP) with the Deputy Director and Senior Program Manager.
• Maintain IDIS and related systems for tracking program applications and reporting.
