Job summary

The Home Depot U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Technical Compliance Engineer in Atlanta to drive regulatory compliance for private brand and imported products. You will coordinate with engineering, labs, and suppliers to ensure protocols, BOMs and cost targets meet safety and regulatory requirements.

You will lead cross-functional teams on projects, perform cost and value analyses, and resolve product performance concerns while guiding engineering decisions to support private brand initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• MBA preferred.
• Mechanical or Electrical engineering background.
• Experience in manufacturing/product development.
• Costing knowledge and BOM understanding.
• Experience working with OEM suppliers.

Responsibilities

• 30% Engineering project management including product requirement development and test protocol development.
• 20% Conduct financial and value-based calculations and present findings to stakeholders.
• 40% Complete resolution of product performance concerns.
• 10% Provide general engineering guidance to deliver short-term business goals.
