Our Legal Department is seeking a talented and dynamic individual that is passionate about their work and is willing to take on new challenges. The Regulatory and Compliance Counsel will primarily provide legal advice on telecommunication licensing, regulatory filings, regulatory compliance, and operational regulatory issues, ensuring the timely filing of all federal, state, and local reports. Additionally, the Regulatory and Compliance Counsel will provide day‑to‑day legal support and advice to various internal clients, including training and contract management support. This position will report directly to the General Counsel.
The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of the job, the associate is required on a daily basis to analyze and interpret data, communicate, and remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The associate is regularly required to move around the office and around the corporate campus. The associate must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.
Travel up to 20%, particularly in multi‑state or rapidly expanding telecommunications markets.
