Wipfli is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Consultant II to work in person, remote, or hybrid in the Chicago, IL area, with about 20% travel. The role focuses on risk assessment, remediation, testing, and reporting for financial institutions, supporting governance and management through clear, concise communications.

Qualifications include a 3+ year background in regulatory compliance, lending knowledge, and strong communication and analytical skills. Travel to client locations within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of regulatory compliance experience in banking or financial institutions.
• Experience in creating, executing, and documenting regulatory compliance audits.
• Knowledge of lending and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive regulatory compliance risk assessment and reporting to senior leadership and boards.
• Assist financial services clients to develop and strengthen their compliance management system.
• Identify regulatory gaps and associated risks and propose practical solutions.
• Present information clearly to boards, audit committees, and management.
• Conduct routine regulatory compliance testing for federal consumer regulations.
