Job summary

TruStage is seeking a Compliance Consultant to deliver high-quality compliance services across multiple insurance-related areas. You will analyze laws, advise partners, and support regulatory examinations while helping improve products and processes.

This role emphasizes independent work, team collaboration, and proactive risk identification. The position offers hybrid work arrangements and a comprehensive benefits package, with a base salary in the 83k–125k range and potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance or related field or equivalent related experience.
• 5+ years of experience in insurance, business or government regulations/compliance or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to perform technical research and analysis of laws and regulations and apply them to company operations, products and marketing.
• Demonstrated organization and project management skills.
• Ability to work with limited direction, set priorities and manage deadlines.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements.
• Use best practices to improve products or services.
• Solve complex problems; adapt and apply existing solutions.
• Work independently with minimal guidance.
• Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
• Proactively assess and monitor programs related to ethics/compliance and identify risks to the business.
• Perform complex compliance reviews, enterprise assessments and policy reviews to ensure compliance with laws.
• Provide technical analysis of existing and pending legislative activities.
• Review service products, marketing materials and business processes for compliance.
• Prepare draft submissions and supporting materials for regulatory review.
• Develop familiarity with recurring reporting obligations across product lines.
