Job summary

TruStage is seeking a Compliance Consultant, Regulatory Response Support, to provide high-quality compliance services across life insurance, preplanning, AD&D and legacy health products. The role collaborates with product-aligned teams, supports examinations, data requests and regulatory inquiries, and helps with enforcement-ready narratives and exhibits.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in insurance/regulatory compliance, strong research skills and the ability to work independently within a team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in insurance, business or government regulations/compliance or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to perform technical research and analysis of laws and regulations and apply them to company operations, products and marketing.
• Demonstrated organization and project management skills.
• Ability to work with limited direction, set priorities and manage deadlines.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex compliance reviews and enterprise assessments to ensure clarity and regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical analysis of existing and pending legislative activities.
• Review service products, marketing materials, and business processes for compliance.
• Develop and implement training/education programs.
• Support regulatory examinations, data calls, inquiries, audits and complaint responses.
• Prepare draft submissions and supporting materials for regulatory review.
