Job summary

Innova Solutions is hiring a Business Analyst (Regulatory & Compliance) for a Charlotte, NC engagement with a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite). The role focuses on regulatory changes, cross-functional collaboration with compliance, technology, legal, and operations, and translating regulatory needs into clear requirements.

The ideal candidate has prior BA experience in regulatory initiatives, knowledge of US/global financial regulation, and experience with regulatory reporting and data analysis.

Qualifications

• BA experience in regulatory and compliance initiatives.
• Strong background in regulatory and compliance initiatives (US or Global).
• Experience supporting regulatory reporting and data analysis.
• Knowledge of financial markets and banking operations.
• Experience to assess regulatory impact across business functions.
• Experience with regulations impacting financial institutions (US/global).
• Prior experience supporting frontline banking teams.
• Exposure to enterprise regulatory programs or large-scale compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support initiatives impacting the Investment Banking business.
• Assess regulatory changes, understand business impact, and drive clear requirements across compliance, technology, legal, and operations.
• Focus more on business/ops BAs vs technical.
• Analyze regulatory requirements and assess impacts across business, technology, legal, and operations teams.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather, document, and refine detailed business and functional requirements.
• Support regulatory-driven initiatives, ensuring alignment with compliance expectations and delivery timelines.
• Work against defined SLAs and timelines to deliver high-quality analysis and documentation.
• Interpret and translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable business insights.
• Support regulatory reporting and data analysis efforts.
• Engage with cross-functional teams within frontline business units.
• Identify risks, gaps, and dependencies related to regulatory changes.
