Job summary

Guild Mortgage Company is seeking a Compliance Analyst to research and interpret federal and state mortgage regulations. You will ensure adherence to TILA, ECOA, and investor guidelines, updating systems and guiding branches with compliant processes.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong detail orientation and highly organized.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of the consumer mortgage lending process and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on federal, state, agency and investor regulations to verify compliance.
• Identify changes in industry regulations and update internal systems.
• Follow Document Compliance procedures to verify regulatory compliance.
• Provide compliant, timely compliance support to branches and departments.
• Research and resolve compliance issues; coach field staff as needed.
• Escalate high-risk issues to senior analysts or management.
• Perform paper disclosures when TILA/ECOA deadlines approach.
• Conduct post-close compliance monitoring audits and address non-passing results.
• Assist with internal system updates, testing and validation.
• Prepare responses for investor reviews and regulatory exams.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

College courses/technical training preferred
