Job summary

BrightSpring Health Services is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Analyst to support the Pharmacy Compliance Team. The role involves completing routine and random on-site audits at PharMerica and One Point Patient Care pharmacy locations nationwide, plus virtual audits and data-entry focused reviews to ensure adherence to state and federal laws governing pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician registration and Healthcare Compliance Certification preferred
• Two years’ experience in pharmaceutical regulatory or industry related experience
• Ability to travel over 50% of the time by plane or vehicle including overnight stays as necessary
• Experience working with multiple regulatory functions and cross-functional teams
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products

Responsibilities

• Conducts on site auditing of PharMerica and One Point Patient Care pharmacy locations across the country
• Conducts virtual and/or desktop auditing of pharmacy locations across the country, including data entry, focus, and records audits
• Assists in the development and maintenance of operations audit and/or risk assessment tools utilized for various pharmacy audits
• Provides timely and relevant analysis and recommendations to operational leadership on all aspects of compliance issues
• Investigates compliance matters and the direction of the VP of Pharmacy Compliance
• Ensures compliance related to state and/or federal regulations and laws related to pharmacy operations
• Remains current on industry regulations or accreditation standards
• Monitors regulatory changes and emerging industry trends to revise audit approaches or training
• Assists in pharmacy regulation impact research and implementation support
• Assist in implementing other components of the Company Compliance Program
• Reviews complaints, concerns, or questions related to compliance issues and provides consultative leadership
• Develops and presents to pharmacy operations team members on regulatory and compliance topics
• Supports goals of compliance team, pharmacies, and overall company objectives
• Complies with all laws, regulations, and standards of ethical conduct
• Maintains required licenses or certifications in good standing
• Complies with all Company policies, procedures, rules, and standards

• Assist in Implementing other components of the Company Compliance Program
• Review, triage, or responds to compliance matters received from pharmacy locations
• Reviews complaints concerns or questions relative to compliance issues and provides consultative leadership and support to all entities as appropriate
• Develops and presents to pharmacy operations team members on regulatory and compliance topics
• Supports goals of compliance team, pharmacies, and overall objectives of the Company
• Complies with all laws, regulations, and standards of ethical conduct
• Performs all job duties with a friendly, positive, and team-oriented approach
• Maintains required license or certifications in good standing
• Complies with all Company policies, procedures, rules, and standards

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician registration and Healthcare Compliance Certification preferred
• Two years’ experience in pharmaceutical regulatory or industry related experience
• Ability to review and apply Healthcare regulations
• Ability to work independently in a remote site
• Ability to travel over 50% of the time by plane or vehicle including overnight stays as necessary
• Experience working with multiple regulatory functions and cross-functional teams
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products
• Prefer South to West home office location
• Proximity and access to major airport
