Job summary

Adventist Health Ukiah Valley is seeking a Director of Regulatory Compliance to lead day-to-day readiness across clinical and operational departments, coordinating audits, mock surveys, and policy implementation to maintain CMS, Joint Commission, and state licensure standards.

You will direct a team, perform annual regulatory assessments, develop corrective action plans, and integrate compliance into workflows, partnering with risk management, quality, and medical staff to ensure ongoing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Two years' leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partners with system, network, and site leadership to align regulatory compliance programs with organizational strategy, quality initiatives, patient safety priorities, and risk reduction goals.
• Provides leadership and expertise in accreditation, licensing and regulatory compliance; leads a team safeguarding facility licensing status and accreditations.
• Conducts annual state regulatory compliance assessments and develops action plans and responses to citations.
• Designs and implements systems to ensure ongoing regulatory, licensure and accreditation compliance.
• Prepares and submits reports on unusual occurrences/adverse events and coordinates corrective actions with relevant departments.
