Job summary

Adventist Health in Simi Valley, CA seeks a senior regulatory and accreditation leader to direct readiness activities across facilities and departments. You will oversee accreditation programs, licensing, and compliance with CMS, The Joint Commission, and state requirements, while leading staff and coordinating corrective actions.

The role requires strong leadership, policy implementation expertise, and experience in healthcare regulatory processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience required.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• Five years healthcare or related experience preferred.
• Three years in accreditation, regulatory compliance or process improvements preferred.
• Two years leadership experience preferred.
• Healthcare accreditation certificated professional (HACP) or CPHQ certification required within 2 years of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day regulatory readiness activities across clinical and operational departments.
• Leads site/network accreditation, regulatory compliance, and licensing operations.
• Manages surveys and regulatory compliance with governmental agencies.
• Develops and implements systems for continual regulatory, licensure and accreditation compliance.
• Produces reports and coordinates action plans for citations and adverse events.
• Collaborates with Risk Management, Quality, Medical Staff and other departments.
