Job summary

Salinas Valley Health is seeking a Director of Accreditation and Regulatory Compliance to lead the development, implementation and enforcement of clinical accreditation and regulatory programs. You will ensure conformance with The Joint Commission, Title 22, CMS Conditions of Participation and CDPH, coordinating with medical staff to maintain ongoing readiness.

The role oversees department workflow, performance appraisals, budget control, risk assessment and corrective action planning, and acts

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Current California Registered Nurse license preferred.
• Minimum of four years’ clinical experience plus two years’ managerial experience in an acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Plans, assigns and directs department workflow.
• Prepares employee annual performance appraisals.
• Addresses and resolves staff complaints and proactively manages production and quality control.
• Leads continuous organizational regulatory readiness and compliance.
• Coordinates communication with The Joint Commission and other regulatory bodies.
• Collaborates with medical staff and administration to ensure ongoing readiness and compliance.
• Develops corrective action plans in response to reviews.
