Capital One is seeking a Principal Associate, Accounting (Hybrid) to join the Regulatory Capital team. The role focuses on capital and risk-weighted asset calculations and disclosures for FFIEC and SEC filings, requiring familiarity with US Basel rules and strict regulatory reporting timelines.

You will interface with cross-functional partners, analyze outputs from the internal capital engine, and drive process improvements while ensuring accuracy and compliance in a hybrid work environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or military experience required.
• At least 3 years of accounting/external financial reporting/audit/finance experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office products.

Responsabilidades

• Lead preparation and review of capital and risk-weighted asset schedules for FFIEC 031, FR Y-9C, FFIEC 101/102, FR Y-15 and Pillar 3 disclosures and SEC filings.
• Monitor regulatory updates and changes to maintain compliance and capital adequacy.
• Collaborate with data providers and cross-functional partners to ensure accurate and timely regulatory reporting.
• Assist with data transformation, automation, and process improvements related to regulatory reporting.
• Stay current with industry and regulatory changes.
• Support management inquiries and provide data-driven insights on reporting variances and controls.
