Capital One is seeking a Senior Associate, Accounting for a hybrid role in the Controllers Group. You will focus on accounting, reporting, analytics, and participate in special projects while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, supporting regulatory and management reporting, and contributing to process improvements. A CPA and deeper GAAP knowledge are preferred, with potential long-term growth into leadership

Qualifications

• 1 year of accounting/external financial reporting/audit/finance experience.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and review accounting activities, reconciliations, and regulatory reports for management review.
• Ensure accounting practices and documentation follow corporate policies and procedures.
• Perform periodic analysis and reporting of financial performance for stakeholders and management.
• Respond to requests from other departments and conduct research.
• Participate in technology and data transformation, process improvement, and business initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to resolve issues on process or product changes.
• Provide ad hoc analysis to management.
• Support audit, risk, and compliance groups when necessary.
