Job summary

Chesapeake Utilities Corporation seeks a Regulatory Analyst to support regulatory accounting and rate proceedings in a hybrid role based in West Palm Beach, FL. You will prepare filings, sponsor testimony, and analyze tariffs with PSCs and OPCs, leveraging AP, data analytics, and reporting experience.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in regulatory analytics within the utility sector, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel for rate case deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 5–7 years in quantitative/analytical work; regulatory utility experience preferred.
• AP, Insight, Data Analytics, and reporting experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication; travel ability.

Responsibilities

• Develop regulatory accounting and analysis to support rate proceedings.
• Prepare regulatory filings and petitions before regulatory bodies.
• Sponsor formal written testimony and data requests for filings.
• Prepare rate designs and tariff analyses for regulated rates.
• Collaborate with PSC, OPC, auditors, and company staff.
