Job summary
Chesapeake Utilities Corporation is seeking a Rates & Revenue Manager to oversee rate design, revenue requirements modeling, and regulatory strategy. Hybrid role based in West Palm Beach, FL or Dover, DE with leadership of regulatory analysis team.
The ideal candidate has a BS in finance/accounting/economics, 7+ years in utility finance, strong MS Excel/PowerPoint skills, and a proven ability to interact with regulators and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- BS in finance, accounting, economics, business or related field.
- 7+ years in utility finance, rate design or regulatory strategy.
- Regulatory rate making and revenue requirement proficiency.
- Understanding of regulatory processes from filing to approval.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement rate-making strategies (general rate cases, formula rates, infrastructure riders).
- Determine revenue requirements and perform cost-of-service studies.
- Prepare regulatory and revenue reports and forecasts for senior management.
- Lead regulatory testimony, exhibits, and responses for state public utility commissions.
- Forecast, budget and monitor rates with accounting; analyze revenue sensitivities.
- Oversee tariff programs development, filing, and maintenance.
