Oterra, a global leader in naturally sourced colors, seeks a Regulatory Affairs Manager to lead regulatory compliance for the US and Canada and to drive strategies enabling new color technologies and market expansion. This role partners with Commercial, Innovation, Quality, and Global Regulatory teams.

You will lead regulatory submissions, color additive petitions, GRAS assessments, and industry advocacy efforts while supporting customer conversions and product commercialization across multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Regulatory Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Nutrition, Food Safety, or related scientific discipline.
• 10+ years of regulatory affairs experience within the food ingredient, food color, flavor, nutraceutical, or specialty ingredient industry.
• Strong knowledge of FDA color additive regulations, food ingredient regulations, labeling requirements, and Health Canada regulations.
• Demonstrated expertise in natural colors, coloring foodstuffs, botanical extracts, or specialty food ingredients.
• Experience supporting customer compliance, product commercialization, and regulatory submissions.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive regulatory strategy.
• Strong project management, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead and oversee regulatory compliance for US and Canada market.
• Develop regulatory strategies to support launches, innovation, and conversions to natural colors.
• Monitor changes to FDA, USDA, Health Canada, CFIA, California regulations.
• Support regulatory submissions, GRAS assessments, and registrations.
• Partner with Global Regulatory Affairs for international approvals and harmonization.
