Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates Nursing or Bachelors Nursing preferred.
• RN license required (single state).
• CPHQ preferred.
• 2+ years acute care experience; 5 years preferred.
• MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; data abstraction and management.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of CMS Conditions of Participation, Joint Commission, and state health dept standards.
• Interprets regulations and accreditation standards for hospital, lab, and ambulatory care.
• Develops and delivers education on licensure, accreditation, and regulatory trends.
• Assists with workflow development, policy review, mock surveys, and continuing education.
• Partners with leaders to mitigate compliance risks and track corrective actions.
• Conducts tracers and audits of documentation and processes.
• Gathers and submits documents for accreditation applications and surveys.
