Job summary

Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, FL is seeking a Regulatory Accreditation Coordinator to drive compliance with Joint Commission, CMS and AHCA standards. You will lead mock surveys, coordinate audit activities, and serve as a resource on accreditation throughout the hospital.

You will develop education programs, monitor performance metrics, and partner with department leaders to ensure preparation for on-site surveys.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• 3–5 years’ hospital experience with The Joint Commission (TJC) and other regulatory agencies or certification survey processes.
• 2 years’ experience in quality or regulatory compliance.
• Experience with Word & Excel required. Florida RN license required or appropriate compact licensure.
• Must obtain Joint Commission Professional Certification (CJCP) within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate organization-wide efforts to maintain performance that meets standards set by TJC, CMS, and AHCA.
• Conduct mock surveys to determine compliance status of hospital sections/departments.
• Provide orientation, education, and training on accreditation standards.
• Serve as a liaison with TJC for accreditation activities.
• Develop and monitor department plans, budgets, and performance metrics.
