Southern California Edison is seeking a Regulatory Accounting Advisor to support the Regulatory Accounting & Analysis division. You will handle regulatory balancing, memo accounts, and FERC revenue requirements, interfacing with CPUC, FERC Regulatory Affairs, and Finance teams.

In this hybrid role, you’ll contribute to year-end audits, budgeting, and financial reporting while protecting sensitive data and ensuring SOX compliance.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of experience in accounting.
• Experience with interpreting and applying GAAP.

Responsabilités

• Oversees processes related to general ledger and month end close entries.
• Directs the annual financial statement audit by working with internal staff and external firm.
• Manages the preparation, compilation, and review of monthly and annual financial statements and other reports in accordance with GAAP.
• Communicates monthly variance analysis and reasoning for variance and trends.
• Prepares a monthly cash report that identifies the current cash position for each bank account and reconciles restricted funds.
