Job summary

Southern California Edison (SCE) is seeking a Regulatory Accounting Advisor in the Regulatory Accounting & Analysis division within the Controller's Department. The role focuses on regulatory balancing, memo accounts, and FERC formula rate revenue requirements, collaborating with CPUC, FERC Regulatory Affairs, and other finance teams.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of accounting experience.
• Ability to interpret and apply GAAP.
• Experience in regulatory accounting within utilities.
• CPA licensure (active or inactive).

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger and month-end close entries.
• Direct annual financial statement audits with internal staff and external firms.
• Prepare monthly/annual financial statements per GAAP.
• Communicate monthly variance analysis and trends.
• Support budgeting, forecasts, and cash reporting.
