Job summary

Baylor Genetics is seeking a seasoned program manager to plan, coordinate, and execute cross-functional initiatives that span product development, clinical operations, IT, and regulatory/compliance in a regulated laboratory environment. You will lead multi-stream projects, partner with leaders across functions, and drive governance with timelines, milestones, budgets, and dashboards.

Strong communication and risk-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Health Administration, Business, Engineering).
• 8+ years of program/project management experience, including 3+ years in healthcare/biotech/diagnostic labs.
• Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional programs with systems integration and process transformation.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory workflows, clinical testing processes, and healthcare regulations.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft.
• Exceptional communication skills for engaging stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of strategic initiatives across multiple workstreams.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to define objectives, priorities, and metrics.
• Drive governance with timelines, milestones, budgets, and reporting.
• Facilitate steering committees with clear status updates and risk assessments.
• Report program progress to executives with dashboards and reviews.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks; escalate when needed.
• Manage dependencies and resources to align with priorities.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, HIPAA, Part 11 across the program lifecycle.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews and apply lessons learned.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to project teams.
