Job summary

Baylor Genetics is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to drive cross-functional initiatives spanning product development, clinical operations, IT, and regulatory compliance in a regulated laboratory setting.

You will partner with leaders across multiple domains to define objectives, governance, and success metrics, while proactively mitigating risks and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• 8+ years of program/project management experience with healthcare/biotech settings.
• Experience managing large cross-functional programs and complex systems integration.
• Strong understanding of laboratory workflows and healthcare regulatory requirements.
• Proficient with Jira, Confluence and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of strategic initiatives across multiple workstreams.
• Partner with product, clinical, lab operations, informatics, and regulatory leaders to define objectives.
• Drive governance with timelines, milestones, budgets, and reporting structures.
• Facilitate steering committee and stakeholder meetings with clear updates and risk assessments.
• Report progress to executive leadership through dashboards and strategic reviews.
• Identify and mitigate risks to maintain momentum across programs.
• Manage dependencies and resource allocation to align with priorities.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, HIPAA, and Part 11 throughout the lifecycle.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews and capture lessons learned.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to project teams within the initiative portfolio.
