Job Summary and Qualifications

1. Position Summary: Supports the mission of The Medical Center of Aurora by enhancing the quality of life for all served, focusing on the whole person. The Cath Lab RN oversees and directs cardiac patient care, serving as the primary nurse leading multidisciplinary collaboration. Responsible for assistive personnel and final accountability for patient care. Performs other duties as assigned.

1. Position Requirements:

1. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current Colorado RN license or multistate license. BLS certification through AHA or ARC. ACLS within 12 months of hire.

2. Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

3. Experience: Preferably one year in acute care.

4. Special Qualifications: Effective communication with patients, families, physicians, and team members. Ability to manage a team and ensure quality care. Strong critical thinking skills.
