Emory Healthcare is an academic medical center with a high acuity patient population. Our pharmacy staff works side by side with our healthcare providers creating an interdisciplinary team approach to patient care. The Pharmacy at Emory’s goal is to provide patient- and-family centered medication management and define a new standard of care for humankind.
The Pharmacist prepares, compounds, and dispenses medications, ensuring accuracy and integrity prior to issuance by the pharmacy.

Includes blood-borne pathogen exposure, bio-hazardous waste, chemicals, gases, fumes, vapors, communicable diseases, electrical shock, floor surfaces, hot/cold temperatures, indoor/outdoor conditions, latex, lighting, patient care/handling injuries, radiation, shift work, travel. Use of PPE, environmental conditions depend on tasks.
