Job summary

Loyola Medicine in Chicago's western suburbs seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered care in inpatient and outpatient settings. The role focuses on assessment, planning and implementing an effective OT program.

You will educate patients, assist with discharge planning, supervise assistants, and contribute to program development. Illinois license and CPR are required, with 1–3 years’ experience preferred; part-time schedule and competitive benefits apply.

• 1–3 years of related experience preferred
• Basic Life Support/CPR certification
• Illinois licensure as an Occupational Therapist

What you'll do:

The Occupational Therapist evaluates patients, plans and implements an effective Occupational Therapy program based upon assessment, clinical judgement and psychological sensitivity for inpatients and/or outpatients with diverse diagnoses. Provides patient education, consultation and discharge planning, supervises and delegates patient care to Certified Occupational Therapists Assistants, Rehab Technicians and Occupational Therapy students. Contributes to the growth of Occupational Therapy Services by assisting with the development of new programs and outcomes/research activities; acts as an operational and clinical resource for staff in areas of expertise.

Compensation:

Pay Range: $32.90-$57.06 per hour

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
