Job summary

Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center in Salida, Colorado is seeking a Hospital Registration Specialist to deliver courteous service and perform accurate patient registrations for hospital services. This evergreen posting welcomes applications year‑round for current or future openings within the Patient Access and Registration teams.

You will maintain data integrity across demographics, insurance, and guarantor details, handle calls and portal inquiries, and support EMTALA compliance

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of related business or customer-service experience, preferably in a hospital, medical or physician office.
• Proficiency in CPSI registration with a 95% accuracy rate.
• Ability to read and verify physician orders with patients.
• Experience collecting and verifying insurance information.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on patient satisfaction.
