Job summary

Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center (HRRMC) in Buena Vista, CO is seeking a Registration Specialist to be the friendly, efficient voice that ensures patients have an exceptional experience. The role is scheduled at 24 hours per week and includes full benefits.

You will master the phone system, use AIDET scripting, and coordinate with clinics while updating patient demographics and records in the system.

Qualifications

• One year of related customer service skills in a healthcare environment or other customer service related industry.

Responsibilities

• Master and maintain phone system proficiency, ensuring prompt and courteous communication.
• Use AIDET scripting to provide a professional, patient-centered experience.
• Transfer calls appropriately and confirm/cancel appointments with efficiency.
• Manage patient records in patient records system, including verifying demographics, updating information, and creating concise task messages for care teams.
• Utilize all available communication tools to coordinate effectively with clinics.
