Job summary

Advanced Surgery Center of Sarasota, part of United Surgical Partners International, is seeking a Registration Representative on a per diem basis to greet patients, admit them, and manage demographics and paperwork in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Responsibilities include collecting payments, updating billing information, and coordinating with physicians and staff while maintaining courteous patient service. Prior hospital or medical office experience and 45 wpm typing are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of hospital clerical experience or medical terminology preferred.
• Must be able to operate office equipment and type at 45 wpm.
• Medical terminology and computer experience beneficial.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Admit patients and process paperwork.
• Update patient demographics in the system.

• Cross-training for other duties may be available.

Required Skills:
