Job summary

MemorialCare is seeking a Registration Representative II at the Fountain Valley location to perform patient registrations for procedures, admissions, outpatient visits, and ER. You will verify demographics and insurance, post payments in Epic, and ensure accurate billing while delivering outstanding service to patients and staff.

The role requires 1–2 years in hospital admitting, strong communication, and knowledge of payors.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hospital admitting or similar experience.
• Effective written and spoken communication.
• Strong customer service skills.
• General knowledge of insurance payors (PPO/HMO/Medi-Cal, etc.).
• Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish or English/Vietnamese).
• General computer skills including EMR and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Register patients for procedures, admissions, outpatient visits, and ER.
• Verify demographic and insurance information for accurate billing.
• Post payments in Epic; handle cash and checks as required.
• Deliver excellent customer service to patients, visitors, clinicians and staff.
• Maintain registration accuracy rate and manage work queues.
• Answer calls professionally and route as needed; adhere to policies.
