Job summary

OrthoVirginia in Virginia is seeking a Registration Coordinator to be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming, organized visit. You will register patients, verify insurance, schedule appointments, and support communications.

You will collaborate with clinicians, financial counselors, and billing teams to keep daily clinic operations running smoothly, handle front office tasks, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service, patient registration, scheduling, healthcare administration, or a medical office setting.
• Knowledge of insurance verification, prior authorizations, patient registration, or healthcare billing processes.
• Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with patients and teammates.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to handle confidential information.

What We’re Looking For

Compensation

Compensation Range for this position: $19.46 - $29.19. Compensation will be based on several factors, including the candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, education, skills, certifications, geography/market, and internal equity considerations.
