Job summary

Kirby Medical Center in Monticello, IL is seeking a part-time Registration Clerk to greet patients, verify information, and register for admissions and procedures. This 16-hour-per-week role.

The ideal candidate will have strong patient interaction, problem-solving skills, and prior customer service experience. A high school diploma is preferred; health insurance knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls professionally and direct them to the proper department.

• Collect and document insurance information correctly.
• Collect co-pays when appropriate.
• Demonstrate the ability to be flexible, organized, and function well in stressful situations.

Schedule: Saturday 7:00am-3:30pm, Tuesday 4:00pm-8:00pm, Every other Sunday 7:00am-3:30pm
Holiday Requirement: Rotating holidays beginning in 2027
Hourly Rate: $16.05-$18.43
*Compensation dependent on experience

This high customer-focused position will work directly with patients to register for care in our beautiful facility.
