Eskenazi Health serves as the public hospital division of the Health & Hospital Corporation of Marion County. Physicians provide a comprehensive range of primary and specialty care services at the 333-bed hospital and outpatient facilities both on and off of the Eskenazi Health downtown campus including at a network of Eskenazi Health Center sites located throughout Indianapolis.
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
The Registrar often serves as the first contact patients have with the system. The Registrar adapts activities/behaviors to reflect and ensure adequate service appropriate to the age of the patients served (i.e. neonatal, infant, pediatric, preschool, school-age and adolescent, and adult and geriatric). This role also performs a variety of clerical and patient service duties necessary to maintain efficient flow of operations in the clinic/hospital/ED/office setting.
Minimum of one (1) year experience in business, office management or health information management. High School Diploma or GED with post-secondary education courses or certification in business, computers, and Office Management. Associate's degree preferred.
