Registrar at Northwest Elementary School

QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED. Creativity and effective problem solving are important for working with a team to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The job requires occasional bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, climbing, reaching above shoulder level, and pushing/pulling. It also requires lifting up to 50 pounds, using both hands for grasping and manipulation, and good hearing and speaking abilities for communication. The Board of Education and Superintendent may approve alternatives to the listed qualifications.

CONTRACT: 200 Days Per Year

WORKING HOURS: 7 hours per day

REPORTS TO: Building Principal

EVALUATED BY: Building Principal

SUPERVISES: Does not supervise

Essential Job Functions:

  • Maintain attendance and student records.
  • Enroll new students following building procedures.
  • Request and send student records as needed.
  • Dispense medicine and care for minor injuries per school policy.
  • Assist teachers, parents, and students as needed.
  • Prepare end-of-year reports and complete assigned tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or Superintendent.
