The Whole Pet Vet Hospital & Wellness Center in Los Gatos, CA is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to support outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry. The role emphasizes high-quality patient care, client communication, and teamwork within a modern, integrative practice.

The position offers a full-time schedule (4/10) with weekday hours and limited weekend inventory days, along with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities

Qualifications

• 3+ years of veterinary technician experience.
• Active and good-standing California RVT license.
• Fear Free Certification or willingness to become certified.
• Proficiency in anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery; dental prophylaxis; radiography.

Responsibilities

• Supporting efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows.
• Performing anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery.
• Performing dental procedures, including prophylaxis and radiography.
• Maintaining accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation.
• Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately.
• Identifying patient concerns and supporting efficient case management across the hospital.
• Building strong client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service.
