Job summary

Adobe Animal Hospital in Concord, CA seeks an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to support outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry. The ideal candidate provides clinical knowledge, judgment, and compassionate client communication in a busy general practice.

The role offers a full-time schedule (5/8) with Mondays through Fridays and rotating Saturdays, plus a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive hourly rate of $34–$38.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of veterinary technician experience.
• Active and good-standing Registered Veterinary Technician in California.
• Proficiency in patient assessment, nursing care, anesthesia induction, monitoring, recovery, surgical assistance, dental procedures, venipuncture, radiology, medication administration, lab testing.

Responsibilities

• Supporting efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows.
• Performing anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery.
• Assisting in surgery.
• Performing dental procedures, including prophylaxis and radiography.
• Maintaining accurate medical records and treatment documentation.
• Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately.
• Identifying patient concerns and supporting case management across the hospital.
• Building client relationships through education and attentive service.
