River Run Animal Hospital in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to support outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry. Qualifications

• 2+ years of veterinary technician experience.
• Active and good-standing Registered Veterinary Technician in North Carolina.
• Proficiency in patient assessment, nursing, anesthesia, dental care and client communication.

Responsibilities

• Support exam, outpatient, surgical and dental workflows.
• Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia.
• Assist in surgical procedures and dental prophylaxis with radiography.
• Maintain accurate medical records and discharge instructions.
• Discuss treatment plans and medications with clients clearly and compassionately.
• Support case management and client relationships across the hospital.
• Provide education and attentive service to clients.
