Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Veterinary Technician.
• Strong venipuncture and IV catheter placement skills.
• Experience with laboratory testing and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients and obtain thorough histories, vitals, and patient assessments.
• Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed.
• Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, fluid therapy, and sample collection.
• Run in-house laboratory testing, including CBC/chemistry, urinalysis, cytology, and other diagnostics.
• Assist with radiology, diagnostics, and basic imaging.
• Practice Fear Free and low-stress handling techniques to help keep patients safe and comfortable.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and organized treatment and exam areas.
• Follow established infection-control protocols.
• Work collaboratively with veterinarians and fellow team members to keep patient care moving smoothly.
