Position Summary

As a Registered Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our veterinarians and ensuring the highest standard of patient care. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to creating a positive experience for both clients and patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, and treatments.
  • Monitor anesthesia and assist during surgical procedures.
  • Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and laboratory sample collection.
  • Conduct in-house laboratory testing and diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation.
  • Educate clients on preventative care, medications, and post-treatment instructions.
  • Provide compassionate nursing care to hospitalized patients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment, surgical, and exam areas.
  • Support a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications
  • Current Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) credential in Colorado, or ability to obtain licensure.
  • Strong knowledge of veterinary medical procedures and patient care.
  • Experience in anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance preferred.
  • Excellent communication and client-service skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork.
  • Proficiency with veterinary practice management software is a plus.
